Repair & Return Policy

All products have a one year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This limited warranty does not apply to cosmetic blemishes which do not limit functionality, misuse, modifications or ordinary wear and tear. The cost to return items with issues covered by the warranty is paid by METROLOGYBASE. Products; purchased used, and damage to third party equipment are excluded from warranty coverage.


Please contact us to help diagnose any repairs that you may need. We can then determine whether the repairs will be covered under our warranty. If your repair is not covered by either of those options, then we can quote the estimated charge to repair. Either way, we will make sure that you have functioning our products. In most cases, we are also able to provide the spare part(s) to help you resolve the issue on your own without sending the item(s) in for repairs. If the identified issue is covered under warranty and it is determined that spare part(s) will fix it, we will send you the part(s) at no additional cost. If the issue is not covered by either of those options, then we can quote the estimated charge for the spare part(s) and shipping.

If you decide to ship your product(s) to us for repairs, please contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code which we will ask for you to clearly mark outside of the box as you ship your product(s) back for repairs.



If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please complete a ‘Return Material Authorisation’ request form and return it. Please contact us by sending a message on the Contact Us page. We will share with you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code and ask that you clearly mark this code outside of your shipping box as you ship your METROLOGYBASE product(s) back for a refund. Please keep a copy of RMA form for future reference. METROLOGYBASE offers its customers the ability to return new, unused, undamaged standard sized Catalogue products within 30 days of original date of receipt of the product. Products returned after 30 days may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Products sent without an RMA number will not be accepted and will be returned at the sender’s expense. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. All returned products are subject to inspection. Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the product is in transit back to the seller). In order to complete your return, we may require a receipt or proof of purchase.



Once your return is received and inspected by us, we will send you a confirmation email. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/replacement. Refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your bank account within 2 working days.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund within the specified time limit, first check your bank account or credit card company – it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you are still unable to trace the refund, please contact us at


Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded, but can be replaced if needed.



We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange for the same item, send us an email at and we will provide instructions on where to return the defective or damaged item.



To return your product, you should mail your product to the appointed shipping address as shown on the RMA form.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.


If you are shipping an item over US $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
